Terms & Conditions

  • Introduction: These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the BW Skips website, as well as all skip hire services provided by BW Skips. By browsing our website, placing an order online, or booking a skip over the phone, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms.

  • Website Terms of Use:

    • Permitted Use: The BW Skips website is provided for your personal, non-commercial use to view our services, check prices, and make skip hire bookings. You agree not to misuse the site, tamper with its functionality, or attempt unauthorized access to our systems or data.

    • Intellectual Property: All content on this website—including logos, branding, text, imagery, graphics, and layout—is the exclusive property of BW Skips or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without prior written permission.

    • Accuracy of Information: While we endeavor to keep all website information, pricing, and service availability up to date and accurate, errors may occasionally occur. We reserve the right to correct any errors or update information at any time without prior notice.

    • Third-Party Links: Our site may contain links to third-party websites (such as local council permit guidance). BW Skips does not endorse or accept responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of external sites.

  • Bookings & Payments: Skip hire orders can be placed online through our website or over the phone with our customer service team. Full payment must be cleared prior to delivery; skips will not be dispatched or delivered until payment has been processed and received in full, unless an approved commercial credit account is in place.

  • Delivery & Placement: Customers must ensure that there is suitable, clear, and unobstructed access for our delivery vehicles to drop off and collect the skip. If a skip needs to be placed on a public highway, pavement, or council land, the customer is responsible for obtaining the necessary local authority permits and providing adequate safety lighting/cones, unless otherwise arranged in writing with BW Skips.

  • Prohibited Waste Types: Skips must strictly be used for permitted waste types. Prohibited and hazardous materials include, but are not limited to, asbestos, paints, solvents, gas cylinders, electrical appliances (WEEE), fluorescent tubes, batteries, tires, and medical waste. Additional processing fees or refusal of collection will apply if prohibited items are loaded.

  • Loading & Weight Limits: Skips must not be loaded beyond the maximum level load height specified by our drivers and safety regulations. Overloaded or unsafe skips present a severe hazard during transit and will not be collected until excess waste is removed by the customer.

  • Cancellations & Refunds: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date to qualify for a full refund. Cancellations made after a vehicle has been dispatched or on the day of delivery may incur a transport and handling fee.

  • Limitation of Liability: BW Skips is not liable for any damage to driveways, block paving, lawns, or underground utilities resulting from heavy vehicle weight or placement requested by the customer, provided reasonable care was exercised by our drivers. Furthermore, BW Skips is not liable for any indirect loss, downtime, or website interruptions beyond our reasonable control.
